Honey Bees

Honey bees are essential for the pollination of most fruits, nuts, vegetables, and seed crops. In recent years, there has been concern about Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).  According to the EPS Colony Collapse Disorder is the "phenomenon that occurs when the majority of worker bees in a colony disappear and leave behind a queen, plenty of food and a few nurse bees to care for the remaining immature bees and the queen." As of yet there is no definitive answer or cause to CCD, but here at ID Services, LLC we can test you bees for Varroa Mite, Tracheal Mite, and Nosema Disease and give you a better understanding of your colonies current health.
