Honey Bees

Honey bees play a crucial role in pollinating most fruits, nuts, vegetables, and seed crops. Recently concerns have arisen regarding Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). The EPS defines CCD as "the phenomenon where the majority of worker bees in a colony vanish, leaving behind a queen, ample food, and a few nurse bees to tend to remaining immature bees and the queen." While there is currently no clear cause for CCD, ID Services, LLC offers testing for Varroa Mite, Tracheal Mite, and Nosema Disease to help you understand the health of your colonies.
